Bistro Croquant Maastricht

I had a splendid dinner at Croquant. The food was presented elegantly and it tasted delicious. We had the chicken liver, beef stew, beetroot salad and desserts. I was also positively surprised by the welcoming and attention to detail from the staff. They were extremely nice and highly professional. Surely, one of the best restaurants in Maastricht. Absolutely recommended!

What a wonderful place. So glad I was here. This is fine dining with a delicious twist on the good old Dutch Kroket, but better so much better. The croquette desert wit apple was amazing. The croquette with shrimp is to die for. The risotto perfectly cooked. Could not find flaw. Service amazing and attentive. Highly recommended.

Unexpectedly delicious! Had no idea at what I was about to try. Located on an anuassuming part of the city centre, this gem of a bistro serves one of the best and tastiest dishes, I've ever had. The personnel is lovely and very inviting as well. Overall one of the best places to eat at in Maastricht.

Loved the food and service! Great vibe. We thought nothing could top the ‘buikspek’, but then the waiter advised us the coquilles. When the chef saw us enjoyjng it — the waiter was right in his implication — he kind of apologized: “we should not have let you end with that, because you should start with that actually”

This wonderful restaurant is located in the picturesque old town. The dishes are excellent, and they are all prepared at the counter in the middle of the restaurant in front of the guests. There is a sharing concept, although this is loosely applied. The service is very friendly, even when it's very busy and everyone is working at full capacity. Reservations are recommended.

On the last evening of our city trip Maastricht, we went to Bistro Croquant. What a nice experience! The concept, the music and the atmosphere were so different!! We really enjoyed eating different croquettes with a very kind service… Some combinations that you would never do; they dare to; and the result is unbelievable; for example olive oil on ice cream!! Definitely a must go when you are in Maastricht…

What a great find! Excellent food! Very exquisite and unique. Each item so delicious we couldn't decide which one was our favourite. The service was very warm and friendly too. Importantly it was clean. Highly recommendable!

This restaurant is more than savory croquettes, and we can assure you with the sweet croquette. Unfortunately, we had to sit at the counter, but at the end was a good experience due to the closer service we got from the staff. As entrees, we asked for the curry soap, fries and croquettes. The start here was surprisingly the soap! For dessert we asked for the apple-pie croquette, which you can see by the photo, is extremely mouth watering, and it was delicious. The environment was calm, suitable for a group-dinner.
